Football Rules And History

Football, also known as association football or soccer, is a sport consisting of two teams of 11 players who try to get the ball to the other team’s goal without using their hands or arms. ۔ The team with the most goals wins. Football is the most popular ball game in the world among many participants and spectators. Outfield players move the ball from any part of the body except their hands or arms when the ball is in play. Only the goalkeeper can use his hands and this is only in his penalty area. When the ball is out of play on both sides of the pitch, an opposing player who has not taken the ball out of the game can throw the ball back into the game with his hands. Keep both feet on the floor behind the throw line. Both hands should remain on the ball until it is released from behind the thrower’s head. The goal of football is to outscore your opponents. A goal occurs when the entire ball crosses the goal line between goalposts. Draw occurs when both teams score the same goal in the allotted time.

The soccer team is a family of sports that involves kicking the ball to score goals to varying degrees. Incompetent, the word football generally means the form of football that is most popular where the word is used. Sports commonly known as football include association football (known in North America and Oceania as football); Garderone football (especially American football or Canadian football); Australian football rules; Rugby Union and Rugby League; And Gaelic football. These different forms of football have something in common and are called football codes.

There are numerous references to traditional, ancient, or prehistoric ball games played in many different parts of the world. The modern rules of football can be traced back to the codification of these games in English public schools during the 19th century. The expansion and cultural influence of the British Empire allowed these principles of football to spread to areas of British influence directly outside the controlled empire. By the end of the 19th century, separate territorial regulations were already in place: for example, Gaelic football deliberately incorporated the rules of local traditional football games to preserve its heritage. first, of many professional footballers associations in 1888, the Football League was founded in England becoming  During the 20th century, many different types of football became the most popular team sport in the world.

A match consists of two 45 minute intervals called the first and second half. In some cases, extra time can be played, a period of two to 15 minutes. Replays or penalty kicks may occur if the side remains the same after extra time. Each team will take 5 penalties. If the score remains the same even after taking 5 penalties allotted by both the teams then sudden death occurs. The first team to lose their penalty will lose if the opponents have scored on their sudden death penalty. Extra time and penalties are only for tournaments and cup matches. If both teams score the same goal in 90 minutes then league games will be drawn.

Early History

Ancient Greece and Rome

The Chinese competitive game, which resembles modern association football (soccer), is described in detail in the military manuals of the 2nd and 3rd centuries BC. It existed during the Han Dynasty and possibly the Qin Dynasty in the 2nd and 3rd centuries BC. The Japanese version of Kojo is Kemari and was developed during the Asoka period. It has been played at the Japanese royal court in Kyoto since about 600 AD. In Kemari, many people stand in a circle and kick the ball at each other, trying not to let the ball fall to the ground (such as KP AP).

The ancient Greeks and Romans are known to have played many ball games, some of which involved the use of feet. The Roman game Harpastem is thought to have been derived from the Greek team game called (Episkyros) or (Bhatinda), mentioned by a Greek playwright, Antifence (388–311 BC) and later. I have been quoted by the Christian theologian Clement of. Alexandria (c. 150 – c. 215 AD). These games are similar to rugby football. The Roman politician Cicero (106-43 BC) describes the case of a man who was killed while shaving while kicking a ball in a barbershop. The Roman Ball Games already knew the Fools, a ball full of air. Episkyros has been recognized by FIFA as the earliest form of football.

Native American

There are numerous references to traditional, ancient, or prehistoric ball games played by locals in many different parts of the world. For example, in 1586, John Davis, a man on a ship led by an English explorer, went ashore in Greenland to play football with the Inuit people. Each match begins with the two teams facing each other in parallel lines, before attempting to kick the ball from each other’s team line and then on a goal. In 1610, William Strachey, a colonist from Jamestown, Virginia, recorded a game played by Native Americans called the Pahsaheman. Century

Games played with rubber balls by the natives in Mesoamerica are well documented as pre-existing, but they had more in common with basketball or volleyball, and so on. No connection has been found between sports and modern football. The Northeast American Indians, especially the Iroquois Confederation, played a game in which a net racket was used to throw and catch a small ball. However, although it is around a football game, lacrosse (as it is called the modern generation) is not generally classified as a form of “football”.

On the Australian continent, several tribes of indigenous people played kick-and-catch games with full balls, which historians have popularized as Maran Grock (“Djab Warang for” Game Ball “). The earliest historical narrative is an incident in 1878 in Robert Bro Smith’s book The Aborigines of Victoria, which refers to a man named Richard Thomas. Was Game: “Mr. Thomas describes how the most important player will drop a ball made of possum skin and how other players jump into the air to catch it.” Some historians have suggested that Marin Grock was one of the founders of Australian Rules football.

Medieval and Early Modern Europe

The Middle Ages saw a huge increase in the popularity of annual Schroeder football matches throughout Europe, especially in England. The earliest reference to the ball game in Britain comes from the 9th-century Historia Bertonum, attributed to Nineis, who described “a party of boys … playing the ball”. A reference to a ball game played in northern France, known as a sol or chol, in which the ball was pushed forward with the hands, feet, and sticks, beginning in the 12th century.

The earliest forms of football played in England, sometimes called “mob football”, is played in cities or between neighboring villages, with an unlimited number of players from opposing teams competing against each other. They collide, struggling to move something, as the bladder of animals is extended to certain geographical locations, such as the church of their opponents, playing in the open space between neighbors. The game was played primarily during major religious festivals, such as the Schroeder, Christmas, or Easter, and the Schroeder games have survived in modern times in many English towns (see below).
